When parents
are the role models of their children, there is a greater chance of them
developing & achieving much more.
Living with your role model allows you to pick up many more aspects of development in your life since you are watching them all the time.
This is in contrast to a role model not being seen except for a short while now & again.
Either way, it is important to have people we look up to, draw inspiration from, be guided by, follow the footsteps of & would like to be similar to.
It helps us focus & set a standard.
If we succeed, there comes a time when the crucial question is no longer who we want to be like, but who wants to be like us, although our refinement continues till we breathe our last.
Remember that the ultimate role models are the Messengers of the Almighty, may peace be upon them all. Aameen
